Overview[]
The Chancellor role is the heralding envoy who both inducts and coordinates all efforts with the diplomatic branch of the Ministry. The Chancellor will host Envoy sessions and hold the responsibility to obtaining the Closed Session docket and remaining up to date on drafted legislature. The Chancellor must ensure all votes are heard within the session, even if through absentee documentation. Chancellors are also responsible for overseeing the induction of new envoys into the diplomatic branch and remain a resource throughout their lobbying quests. The Chancellor, when voting, is allowed to vote only if there is a tie between options. Otherwise, they must remain a neutral party, much akin to the Vice Legate.
A Chancellor can only be removed from their seat by a voluntary resignation or a Vote of No Confidence and hearing with the Vice Legate.

Duties[]
In Character[]
- Host sessions monthly with all envoys a week prior to Closed Session.
- Obtain docket from Vice Legate.
- Remain up to date on upcoming legislation.
- Attend Closed Sessions to administer the diplomatic branch's verdict on relevant topics.
- Induct and introduce new envoys to their role.
- Remain current on all Minister's and Judicial policies to be a neutral resource for envoys.
- Be proactive in seeking out other branches to spread influence.
- Maintain a clean record and reputation.
Out of Character[]
- Coordinate with Vice Legate and Arbiter on session dates.
- Be proactive in spreading information on upcoming elections and bills.
- Keep the envoy populace informed on all chances within the ministry.
- Meet with new members within the role and guide them through RPing within the diplomatic branch.
- Remain active and attentive to changes IC and OOC within KM.
Appointment[]
The Chancellor will be appointed by the former Chancellor with the signature of the Vice Legate. If the former Chancellor is removed through a Vote of No Confidence, a new Chancellor will be appointed in a vote through a bid for the seat and a vote through the Ministers with a single vote from the Judicial Branch.
The rank of Chancellor can be contested when the seat is up, only to combat the endorsed candidate. In this case, they will be subject to an election with the same process as Minister.
Requirements[]
- Playing a character nested within a particular culture and possess roots within that faction of the RP community.
- This role is secondary to the main storyline of a character. They must represent a specific group.
- They must have a fair representation without a conviction history. This can be bypassed through the judicial branch of appeals.
